The colour palette I chose for this furniture makeover is reminiscent of turquoise waters and sandy beaches in faraway places.
 
I love the arched top section for displaying carefully chosen pieces. There are two drawers above two cupboards.
 
The back and sides have been painted in Dixie Belle's Serenity. The textured paint effect was achieved using Dixie Belle's Terra Clay paint with the colours Blue Agave, Lani's Lagoon and London Blue before sealing. The worktop was stripped back before applying a combination of Au Natural & White Magic gel stain then sealing with a natural, durable matt hardwax oil.
