This cocktail cabinet is one of those pieces that completely transforms a space — and it’s exactly why I love what I do.
 
It began life as a tired vintage cabinet, worn inside and out, but with beautiful bones and so much potential. I could immediately see it as something far more special — a statement piece that would feel both elegant and a little bit dramatic.
 
I’ve refinished the exterior in a deep matte black to create a rich, timeless base, and the doors feature a striking butterfly design that flows seamlessly across both panels. It’s designed to draw you in and become a real focal point in the room.
 
Inside, I’ve created a luxurious cocktail space. The interior has been lined with a black and gold botanical design to add warmth and depth, and I’ve fitted a hanging wine glass rack along with a rechargeable sensor light that can be set to warm or cool tones. It comes on automatically when the doors are opened, which makes it feel that little bit special when you’re using it.
 
The original Queen Anne legs have been refinished and highlighted with subtle gold detailing to tie everything together and add a touch of elegance.
 
This is a completely one-of-a-kind piece — thoughtfully designed and carefully refinished in my studio. It’s perfect as a drinks cabinet, a statement piece in a living room, or anywhere you want to add character and atmosphere to your home.
