A charming pair of vintage oak side tables, carefully refinished to give them a lighter, more contemporary feel while retaining all of their original character.
 
The oak tops have been stripped back to reveal the beautiful natural grain and finished to enhance the warmth and variation within the wood. The bases have been painted in a soft neutral stone tone, creating an understated contrast that works beautifully with the natural oak.
 
Both tables feature lovely traditional detailing, including turned legs, carved/fluted aprons and decorative lower stretchers, giving them plenty of character without feeling overly ornate.
 
The two different sizes make them particularly versatile. They work beautifully styled together as occasional tables, or separately as side tables, lamp tables or bedside tables.
 
As with all vintage furniture, there may be small signs of age and previous life, adding to their individual character.
