The brief for this Victorian dresser was to create a media unit and update it to match their new decor.

The dresser was split into the bottom section and mirror section.

I then split the mirrored section leaving just its frame and this then cut down to size.

I removed the middle two drawers and panelled it out to create two open shelves to house an amplifier and TV equipment.

I stripped and refinished the dresser top in a Walnut stain and applied a durable hardwax oil.

The dresser body and mirror frame were painted prior to sealing and adding subtle grey wax to the carved detailing.

Finally, the original hardware was cleaned and brought back to its original finish.
