Meet Your Tutor – Deb from Flippin’ Sixpence

Hi, I’m Deb, the furniture artist behind Flippin’ Sixpence.

I specialise in transforming furniture through creative refinishing techniques, turning tired or outdated pieces into beautiful statement furniture.

Over the years I’ve worked with many different pieces, from sentimental family furniture to vintage finds, helping people re-imagine what their furniture could become.

I created these workshops to share the skills and techniques I use every day so that others can experience the satisfaction of transforming furniture themselves.

My workshops are relaxed, supportive and hands-on. Whether you’re a complete beginner, DIY enthusiast or wish to develop your skills, I’ll guide you step-by-step so you leave with the confidence to continue your own projects at home.
